Who are we?
Autica Tours Indonesia (Autica Tour & Travel) is an independent travel company based in Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia, and a proud trademark of PT. Bestari Bahagia Sejahtera (Registration No. AHU-061349.AHA.01.30, 2024). We specialize in crafting not only creative but also authentic slow-travel experiences that celebrate Indonesia’s cultural layers, natural beauty, and human connection.
We believe that experiencing new places, and culture, will benefit not just the visitor, but also the people and places we encounter. Through collaboration with local communities and creative partners, we aim to nurture a more fair treatment, conscious and inclusive way of exploring & experiencing Indonesia, inspired from the city we were born. Our Roots and Inspiration
Autica was born in Yogyakarta. The only remaining monarchy situated on Indonesia’s most densely populated island, Java. Here, tradition and modern life move together in balanced rhythm. Ancient rituals blend with contemporary art scenes; gamelan played through creative studios, and royal heritage meets the spirit of a young, progressive city.
Our name, Autica, stands for Authentic, Culture, and Adventure. Three values that mirror the essence of Yogyakarta itself. Known as the City of Students, Yogyakarta’s open and dynamic ecosystem allows ideas to grow freely while its people remain deeply rooted in Javanese values of humility, balance, and harmony. Located between the most active volcano, Merapi, in the north and the rough Indian Ocean in the south, it creates its unique nature–culture relationship. A city that offers both natural & cultural adventure.
Autica reflects Yogyakarta itself, where traditional values meet the modern world. We are a travel company grounded in cultural awareness and shaped by contemporary experiences.
